A year ago or so I ran a reoccurring headline about seeing the madness in our every day life. Reading the news today I got the impulse to restart the headline (thus no 10).
What caught my madness radar today was two things:
- Gothenburg university gets involved in a oyster farming project with a 2 million Euro grant.
- Swedish Tourist Board (or whatever STF would be called in Swedish) is recruiting a person to spend 60 days "eating good food, visiting tourist sites and participating in adventures". The person is expected to report his/her experience through various social media channels. All this as a campaign for marketing Sweden in a new way (mimicked by a guy i Australia who apparently has the "best job in the world" slacking on some island.
Seriously, is this how we should be spending our collective resources?
