I've been talking small for the last week or so. And what comes across is a kind of fear of smallness. This is not only in business (companies should be big), but also in public sector (municipalities should be big) and private life (cars and breasts should be big).
Small seems to be inherently bad. Something to be suspicious about. Something to mock. Something defective to alter and make big. Something not really worth caring about.
Now, if this is the general sentiment about small we of course have a severe challenge at our hands. How do we challenge the tyranny of bigness and install respect for the plentitude of smallness?
